Celso Gamboa is a former Costa Rican security minister and Supreme Court justice. In March 2026, he was among the first Costa Ricans extradited to the United States after a 2025 constitutional reform allowed extradition for drug-trafficking and terrorism offenses.

Gamboa was extradited on accusations of drug trafficking. The accusations are not a finding of guilt.
