The Intelligence and Security Committee Russia report, commonly known as the Russia report, examined allegations of Russian interference in British politics, including in the 2016 Brexit referendum and the 2014 Scottish independence referendum.
The committee completed the report in March 2019, and it was published in July 2020. It did not reach a definitive conclusion on whether Russia had attempted to influence the EU referendum result. It criticised successive governments for not fully assessing or countering the threat. The report said there was substantial evidence that Russian interference in British politics was commonplace.
