Joshua Foster is a British man from Essex who was fined €3,000 by Paphos District Court after pleading guilty to causing his two-year-old son’s death through a reckless, rash or dangerous act.

The boy fell from a fourth-floor window at the King Evelthon Beach Hotel and Resort in Chlorakas on July 12. The court heard that Foster placed him on the windowsill, believing the window was closed, and lost control of him. The child was pronounced dead at Paphos General Hospital.
