Mykhailo Albertovych Fedorov is a Ukrainian politician. He served as Ukraine’s deputy prime minister and minister of digital transformation from 2019 to March 2023. He later served as first deputy prime minister and minister of digital transformation from July 2025 to January 2026, then as defence minister from January to July 2026.

Shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Fedorov publicly appealed to Elon Musk to activate SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service in the country. Musk announced that Starlink service was active and that more terminals were on the way. Fedorov’s appeal connected him to Ukraine’s early adoption of the satellite network.
