Pak Thae-song is a North Korean politician who has served as the country’s premier since December 2024. He is also vice president of the State Affairs Commission.

The premier is the head of North Korea’s government and leads its Cabinet. Pak previously chaired the Supreme People’s Assembly from January 2021 to January 2023.

In 2026, Pak delivered a video address at the opening ceremony for the New Yalu River Bridge, which connects China and North Korea.
