Ream Naval Base is operated by the Royal Cambodian Navy on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand in Cambodia’s Sihanoukville Province. The facility covers about 190 acres on a peninsula southeast of the provincial capital, Krong Preah Sihanouk.

The base was renovated with Chinese funding and hosts a joint China-Cambodia training center. Chinese state-owned enterprises have also carried out expansion work there.
