Vyriy is a Ukrainian drone manufacturer that makes attack drones. Its founder is Oleksii Babenko.

Babenko said that about three years before 2026, nearly 90% of the components in the company’s attack drones came from China. He said that by 2026, about 70% to 80% of its components were made in Ukraine.

Vyriy’s shift toward domestic components reflects a broader effort by Ukrainian drone makers to reduce reliance on Chinese suppliers. Domestic production can also make it easier to adapt equipment quickly to battlefield needs, according to an analyst cited in the news report.
